Purpose and Overview
These Community Guidelines outline the standards and rules for all editors, clippers, and creators participating in Twizby’s performance-based clipping network. Twizby connects video editors with licensed content from premier creators and brands, rewarding high-quality, authentic short-form content that engages audiences across supported social channels. By participating in campaigns, accessing raw assets, or submitting content for payout, you agree to adhere strictly to these standards.
Content Authenticity and Editorial Integrity
Twizby’s mission relies on thoughtful curation and creative editing that respects the original source material. When editing short-form vertical clips, editors must ensure their submissions reflect fair representation, meaningful transformative value, and context preservation:
• Transformative Value: Clips should provide genuine entertainment or informational value through pacing, precise cuts, high-quality subtitles, audio balancing, visual enhancements, and tailored vertical formatting. Simply ripping full videos with minimal effort, generic re-uploads, or automated bulk scraping without creative input may result in disqualification from campaign pools.
• Original Asset Boundaries: You may only use assets made explicitly available for active campaigns within your dashboard. Incorporating unlicensed third-party music, copyrighted background visuals, unauthorized celebrity likenesses, or trademarked logos not part of the active campaign is strictly prohibited.
• Contextual Accuracy: Clippers must ensure that all promotional content—including product descriptions, claims, testimonials, images, videos, and pricing—is truthful, not misleading, and accurately represents what customers can expect. Specifically:
o Do not make false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims about the products or services
o Do not use fake testimonials, fabricated results, or actors portraying customers without clear disclosure
o Do not create fake accounts, impersonate others, or engage in fraudulent or deceptive behavior
o Do not use false scarcity tactics (e.g., fake countdown timers, false limited stock claims)
o Do not misrepresent pricing (e.g., fake discounts, invented original prices)
o Disclose any material connections (e.g., paid endorsements, affiliate relationships) in compliance with FTC guidelines
• You are responsible for having evidence to back up any factual claims you make. Twizby may request substantiation at any time.
Follow Advertising and Marketing Laws
Clippers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing advertising, marketing, and consumer protection, including:
• Federal Trade Commission (FTC) truth-in-advertising rules
• FTC Endorsement and Testimonial Guidelines
• CAN-SPAM Act (for email marketing)
• Telephone Consumer Protection Act / TCPA (for text messages and telemarketing)
• Industry-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, FCC) if applicable to your products
If you send marketing emails or text messages, you must provide recipients with a way to opt out and honor all opt-out requests.
Protect Vulnerable Individuals
Do not promote products or services to children under the age of 13. Do not create content that exploits, endangers, or harms vulnerable individuals, including minors.
Traffic Authenticity and Anti-Fraud Policy
Payouts are directly tied to verified performance, view counts, and engagement milestones. We employ strict algorithmic and manual auditing systems to protect the integrity of creator budgets and community earnings:
• Prohibition of Artificial Engagement: The use of view bots, click farms, paid engagement services, reciprocal engagement pods, auto-refreshers, or any deceptive method designed to inflate view numbers or interactions is strictly prohibited.
• Organic Distribution Standards: Content must be published to legitimate, active accounts on authorized third-party platforms (such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels). Mass-creating burner accounts purely to spam unedited snippets will trigger automated rate limits and potential campaign exclusion.
• Zero Tolerance for Invalidation: Any analytics showing artificial traffic spikes, mismatched viewer retention patterns, or proxy-driven view velocity will result in the immediate forfeiture of pending payouts and a permanent platform ban.
Brand Safety and Platform Harmony
Every clip you produce reflects both the featured creator or brand and our collective community. To maintain advertiser confidence and a safe viewing experience, your submissions must remain brand-safe:
• Prohibited Themes: Submissions must not contain, promote, or link to hate speech, severe harassment, sexually explicit material, dangerous acts, illegal substances, regulated goods, violence, illegal goods or services (e.g., unlicensed drugs, counterfeit items, human trafficking), animal harm, or content that glorifies real-world harm, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders, any sexual content involving minors (we report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement)
• Host Platform Adherence: All published clips must fully satisfy the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service of the respective platform where they are hosted. Receiving platform-level strikes, takedowns, or severe visibility penalties for guideline violations may disqualify the associated campaign submission.
• Defamation and Impersonation: Account handles and channel branding must clearly signify fan or clipper status. You must never impersonate the official brand, featured creator, or platform administrators in your bio, username, or pinned remarks.
• Do not use the Twizby name or logo without authorization (use must follow Twizby's brand guidelines and may be revoked at any time)
Compliance, Enforcement, and Appeals
Maintaining a fair earning environment requires consistent enforcement of these standards across all campaigns:
• Twizby takes violations of these Community Guidelines seriously. We reserve the right to review any content, product, or promotional material on the platform. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:
o Require changes to content, products, or promotions
o Remove or delist content or products
o Suspend or withhold funds
o Suspend or terminate accounts
o Report illegal activity to law enforcement or regulatory agencies
• Auditing and Verification: All payouts undergo an auditing period to verify view validity, source link health, and editorial compliance before funds are released.
• Graduated Enforcement: Minor discrepancies or non-fraudulent formatting mistakes may result in a clip rejection with specific feedback. Deliberate fraud, toxic content creation, repeated copyright infractions, or severe brand violations will trigger immediate suspension or permanent account closure without payout.
• Dispute and Appeals: If you believe a clip was rejected or an account action was taken in error, you may file an appeal through the Twizby Support portal within fourteen days of the decision, providing full unedited source links, platform analytics access, and editing project files.
• Clippers are responsible for ensuring their content and conduct comply with these guidelines and all applicable laws.
Protect the Platform
Do not:
• Use software to extract, scrape, or bypass platform limits
• Exploit the platform's payment system for fraudulent or abusive purposes
• Send spam or unsolicited messages
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Twizby platform
